Old Virginia Blog

WBTS & historical musings, wandering thoughts, book comments, and an occasional rant from the backroads and byways of Old Virginia from Civil War author Richard G. Williams, Jr - one of the few remaining men who has actually lived in Virginia all his life. :)

Spring!

Spring has finally sprung in the Shenandoah Valley and it is especially spectacular this year! All along Lee-Jackson Highway, the redbud and dogwood are in full bloom and offer a beautiful display of God’s handiwork. Spring is slowly scaling the slopes of the Blue Ridge Mountains as well and offers some breathtaking scenery.
